The Birth of a New Invention

A bright blue sun-lit sky in the presence of tall graceful palm trees inviting calmness of the blue ocean waters tend to usher the mind into a world of "Imagine this!"

It is in this solitude that many thoughts have been nurtured into great ideas and on to even greater acts that the world witnesses today. That invention that you adore, the enticing craft in the gift shop, the successful science project, the passionately calling poem and all the wonders born in the mind of man could testify such an origin.
Interesting to note, that the heroes who birthed such greatness may have sat there in solitude for hours; drawing down plans in their mind, digging the foundations while leveling here and deepening there. But when they were done planning, they knew one thing would be for sure; "Nothing would benefit the thoughts more than been publicly arrayed in the eyes of beneficiaries and critics."
Conquering fear and doubt, off they went to face the real world that couldn't read their minds but hungrily awaited this invention! They shared the thoughts with someone, tried it over and over. They may have failed and even come to the verge of giving up but they had already told too many people, who may have encouraged them and others probably ridiculed them. They weighed the between letting down themselves and benefiting the society around them, obviously the latter lost and the sooner won!
Today, you probably wore that perfume, drove that car, used that phone, took that drug.
Whatever it is, it was all born in the mind of yet another human, just like you, but it had to be shouted in public for your benefit.
Do you want to bring yet another of those beautiful things into the world and bless mankind?
  • Embrace solitude while thinking and planning. A calm and sober mind bears much.
  • Talk to someone whom you really respect about it: they may not agree with you to a 100% but they will support you, directly or indirectly.
  • Publicize it: this will give you the push to bring the thoughts into things.

In conclusion “Silence is best when you are thinking: but when you are done planning, SHOUT IT OUT!”
